CREEDMOOR — First Fridays in Creedmoor returns on Friday, March 5 from 5:30 — 8:30 p.m. with a community campfire and activity night hosted in the Southern States Parking lot at 301 N. Main St. in downtown Creedmoor.
Activities include two roaring campfires, free pre-bagged s’mores kits, cornhole, take-home activities for the kids, and an opportunity for the public to weigh in on programming for the new Creedmoor Community Center.
“The new normal is still months away, however, the CDC and N.C. Department of Health and Human Services have provided guidance that provides for the safe delivery of recreational opportunities during this transition,” said Creedmoor Recreation Director Christopher Horrigan. “Our residents are looking for small, safe, recreational opportunities for their families. I would rather provide an experience for them here, where we can ensure those best practices are being followed, rather than encourage them to travel outsid ....
