Two cyclones looming off Western Australian coast will create Fujiwhara Effect


Thousands of Australians are on alert as two tropical cyclones hovering off the coast are set to collide and form a dangerous super-system. 
Tropical Cyclone Seroja is forecast to hit the Western Australian coast as early as Sunday as it barrels towards Broome, in the state s north-west.
The Bureau of Meteorology said anywhere along a 1,100km stretch from Perth north to Coral Bay could be in the cyclone s firing line - although it will most likely make land near Carnarvon in the Gascoyne region.
Another tropical low has formed west of Cyclone Seroja, with the two weather systems expected to rotate around each other to create the Fujiwhara Effect.   ....
