Gilbert, Winchester school boards remain divided on contract

WINSTED Tuition payments are one of the sticking points.
Winchester Public Schools and Gilbert School board members this week tried again to reach a potential contract decision, but it could be some time before they reach any sort of agreement.
The biggest issue for both sides of the group is how tuition payments will be decided and made.
Members of the ad-hoc committee, comprised of Winchester Superintendent of Schools Melony Brady-Shanley, Gilbert Superintendent of Schools Anthony Serio and members of both school districts’ boards, last met in November to negotiate a contract between the two entities.
