CHICO, Calif. – Deputies with the Butte County Sheriff s Office said they arrested a registered sex offender for possession of child pornography.
On May 6, detectives contacted 39-year-old Clinton Kennedy in Chico and arrested him for violating the terms and conditions of his parole.
Earlier this year, Butte County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) detectives began investigating Kennedy, who is a registered sex offender and on active state parole. Deputies also said they located evidence that he was downloading child pornography. ....
