ST. CLAIRSVILLE Civic groups are seeking help as they work to provide food for residents of the 43950 ZIP code who are in need this holiday season.
Kirke Porterfield of the St. Clairsville Noon Rotary Club said there has been a strong response since launching the initiative Wednesday.
“We’re getting some requests from people who need help, and we’re getting some donations in to help from people who want to be anonymous,” he said.
“The donations are coming in, and we’re having people who want some stuff delivered,” he said. “It’s all food.” ....
