Two firefighters taken to hospital after East Limestone fire
Icy conditions were to blame for one of the firefighters injuries.

Multiple fire crews responded to a house fire at 17685 Hall Road early Wednesday morning.
According to East Limestone Fire Chief Joey Boyd, the fire started in the garage.
Two adults and three children were able to escape the fire safely.
Boyd says two firefighters were injured and taken to Athens Limestone Hospital.
Boyd says one firefighter slipped and fell on the ice and hurt his ankle.  Another firefighter hurt his ankle, too, after a piece of brick fell and hit him. ....
