Boston police recovered an AK-47 assault rifle in an East Boston man’s residence Sunday evening after he allegedly fired a shot from a fourth floor balcony and then drew attention to himself by throwing snowballs at the officers searching for ballistic evidence on the street below.
Police did not identify the 30-year-old man who was arrested after they responded to a report of shots fired around 6:40 p.m. in the 180 block of Havre Street, according to a post Tuesday on the department’s website. ....
