Police are investigating alleged charity fraud in Sydney after reports a woman posing as a children s cancer foundation representative has allegedly been collecting money from residents.
Kids With Cancer Foundation Australia warned supporters on Wednesday to be aware of the woman they claim uses the name Jessie and carries photo identification depicting their logo of two smiling stick figures wearing pink and blue. ....

BIG CHOP: Mackay lawyer will donate hair to Wigs for Kids

Mrs Adorni-Braccesi s hair will be donated to Wigs for Kids because they work in conjunction with the Kids with Cancer Foundation .
Another factor was because the hair remained in Australia to be treated and made into wigs for Australian kids.
You can only donate hair if it isn t dyed or chemically straightened, she said.
Mrs Adorni-Braccesi made the decision about November last year but at the last minute decided to turn the move into a fundraiser, which has reached more than $1000 in two days.
I thought maybe I would get to $200, to already be at $1000 I m amazed, the 32 year old said, adding her work had really gotten behind the initiative with a number of colleagues donating to the cause. ....
