BACOLOD CITY, Jan. 13 (PIA)  League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP) national president and Bacolod City mayor Evelio Leonardia said 61 cities in the country have committed to purchase vaccines that will cost more than P10 billion.
In his recent interview in Public Briefing Laging Handa with Presidential Communication Operations Office (PCOO) Under Secretary Rocky Ignacio and  PCOO Secretary Martin Andanar, he said the LCP had created a committee for vaccine availment as early as December 2020.
According to Leonardia, he believes the LCP will be able to talk to prospective pharmaceutical companies to get specifications on the details of vaccine efficacy. ....
