Aberdeen residents held a Mardi Gras celebration again this year despite the pandemic.

ABERDEEN, Miss (WTVA) Residents in Aberdeen held a Mardi Gras celebration in downtown Aberdeen Sunday afternoon.
Last year Aberdeen made its Mardi Gras celebration debut with a huge festival. But now, due to the Coronavirus, Neil Palmer the organizer of the Aberdeen Mardi Gras celebration had to scale things back.
Last year we had a big parade downtown and a ball but due to Covid we had to take things down, Palmer said. ....
