A bogus doctor and her assistant are expected to appear in the Queenstown Magistrate’s Court at Komani on Friday on charges of Fraud and Contravention of the Medicine’s Act.
Brigadier Tembinkosi Kinana says they were arrested in Molteno in the Chris Hani District on Thursday in a joint operation involving Komani Crime Intelligence, other police role players and the South African Health Products Authority.
Brigadier Kinana says one of the suspects masqueraded as a Medical Doctor and is believed to have started her practice back in 2018. ....
