Qualcomm today announced the launch of the Snapdragon 678 processor. The Snapdragon 678 system-on-chip is the successor to Snapdragon 675 SoC that was launched back in October 2018 and it offers performance upgrades, better photo and video quality, and an immersive entertainment experience over its predecessor.
The newly launched Snapdragon 678 comes with Qualcomm Kryo 460 CPU core that clocks a speed of up to 2.2GHz and Qualcomm’s Adreno 612 GPU that offers better performance and greater efficiency than the Snapdragon 675 SoC. It also has Qualcomm’s Hexagon 685 DSP processor. Qualcomm claims that Snapdragon 678 is optimized for Unity, Messiah, NeoX, and Unreal Engine 4, and other top gaming engines. ....
