Share The Department of State Security (DSS) in Kano have arrested five persons over the kidnap of a six-year-old, Abdallah Abdulkadir Salisu of Gadon Kaya, Gwale Local Government Area of Kano State. However, the purported kidnappers who are mainly underage boys of 16, 18 and 20 years, were said to have connived with the cousin of the victim, one Abdulhadi Ibrahim who initiated the nefarious act. According to the DSS officer who led the operation to arrest the kidnappers, the boys met, agreed and perfected the criminal act in order to have enough money to celebrate last Eid Festivities. He disclosed that the father of the victim, Abdulkadir Salisu, reported to the Kano Command sometime in July this year 2021 that his son was missing.
