Tuesday morning s deadly crash, the first in the city of Joliet, in 2021, happened at Cass and Briggs Streets.
JOLIET, IL A 48-year-old man died Tuesday morning following a crash at Joliet s busy east side intersection of Cass and Briggs Street. The Joliet Police Department said the other driver drove through a red light, crashing into the Crete man s vehicle, leaving him dead and injuring his two passengers.
Roman Romero-Velasquez of Crete was pronounced dead at Silver Cross Hospital at 10:53 a.m., according to the Will County Coroner s Office. ....
