Minister for Planning Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar on Friday informed the Senate that the government was committed to accelerating policies and programmes to enhance the social wellbeing of people while ensuring that no one was left behind.
In a written reply to a query, the minister stated that the major thrust of public sector investment under the Federal Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) after the 18th amendment was on the funding of large scale strategic projects of national interest. ....
