ABU DHABI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 21st Feb, 2021) The Judicial Inspection Department, in cooperation with the Institute of Judicial Training at the Ministry of Justice, organised a training course on the effectiveness of trials in money laundering criminal cases from the perspective of Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
The training was presided by Dr. Tariq Ahmed Al-Rashed - Attorney General of Ajman public Prosecution and member of the National Committee for Combating Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism and Illegal Organisations, and the chairman of the Committee for inspection and Follow-up of Money Laundering Cases at the Office of the Attorney General. ....

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Saturday reported 3,158 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 4,298 recoveries and 15 deaths. The new cases were detected through 165,357 additional tests.

The total number of cases in UAE as on February 20 are 368,175 while total recoveries stand at 356,013. The death toll rises to 1,108.

The Federal Public Prosecution has clarified that principals of educational institutions and managers of establishments are obliged by law to inform UAE health authorities if a student or worker is found to be infected with a communicable disease, such as Covid-19.
In a video post published on its social media account, the Public Prosecution referred to Article 12 of the Federal Law No 14 of 2014 concerning Prevention of Communicable Diseases which says: If a director of an educational institution or any other facility suspects any student or employee has been infected with a communicable disease, he must refer the suspected person to the specialist doctor for examination and to provide him with a report stating his/her disea ....
