“424 more Nigerians stranded in Saudi have arrived Abuja. They will proceed on the mandatory 14 days quarantine. We appeal to Nigerians to desist from illegal migration,” she tweeted.
The PUNCH reports that 384 Nigerians stranded Nigerians in Saudi Arabia earlier arrived in the country on Thursday.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs had disclosed on Wednesday that 802 Nigerians would return from Saudi Arabia on Thursday and Friday.
It said the citizens who were held at various detention centres over migration issues would be received at the NAIA by MFA officials. ....

The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission has announced the return of 384 Nigerians from the United Arab Emirates to their homeland.
The returnees are part of the 802 Nigerians stranded in Saudi Arabia that the Nigerian government had promised to evacuate to Nigeria on Thursday and Friday.
NIDCOM on its Twitter handle, said out of the 384 returnees, 300 are males, 83 are females, while one of them is an infant whose gender was not disclosed. ....

802 Nigerians return from Saudi Arabia Thursday, Friday

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has disclosed that 802 Nigerians will return from Saudi Arabia on Thursday and Friday.
The citizens who were held at various detention centres over migration issues would be received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, by MFA officials.
The returnees will be quarantined at the Federal Capital Territory Hajj camp for 14 days in line with the COVID-19 protocols.
A statement on Wednesday, by the Permanent Secretary, MFA, Amb. Gabriel Aduda, said the returnees will be conveyed via two Saudi Arabian Airlines.
The statement titled, ‘FG to receive 802 Nigerian returnees from the kingdom of Saudi Arabia,’ explained that the first batch will arrive on January 28 at 11:50hrs, while the second would arrive on January 29 at 10:35hrs. ....
