Cultural Wing DIPR holds Webinar on Covid Appropriate Behaviour

In all, 10 students expressed their views and experiences about the importance of following Covid Appropriate Behaviour. Rashi got 1st position, Akanksha got 2nd and 3rd was bagged by Anmol besides Consolation prizes were presented to Sabhyata and Jaspreet.
Earlier, the welcome address was presented by Nidhi Sambyal and program proceedings were conducted by the Senior Cultural Assistant, Suresh Sharma. Songs and jingles were presented by artists of the Cultural wing.
The Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of Information Department especial Cultural Wing for holding such thought provoking events.
The Principal hoped that the department will organise more such awareness programmes to educate the masses about the importance of covid appropriate behavior. The Principal advised the students to follow covid-19 safety protocols to contain its spread. ....

A cultural programme featuring songs was presented by the artists of Information Department Bunty Shah, Balbir Singh and Mohinder Panchairvi .
Speaking on the occasion, JDI Jammu and Field Publicity Officer, highlighted various components of covid appropriate behaviour and called upon the participants to observe social distancing, wear face masks all time, avoid outing without any reason to stay safe from the corona virus.
In his address, the chief guest lauded the efforts of Information Department for conducting the thought provoking awareness programme for the safety of the people.

‘All control measures intensified, committees constituted to check violations’
JAMMU: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Raghav Langer today urged the people to cooperate with the administration and follow Covid appropriate behaviour and SOPs keeping in view fresh surge in the cases.
Addressing a press conference here, Raghav said “We have witnessed fresh surge in cases in last 3 weeks, particularly in district Jammu and the people need to follow all SOPs to control further spread of Covid-19″. The people’s cooperation in following SOPs including Wearing of face masks, maintaining social distancing and avoiding gathering is imperative to contain the spread, he added. He said that the preventive measures have been intensified, while committees have been constituted to check violations. ....
