GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Yuba Nagarik Samiti (GYNS) has demanded the government to cancel the conduct of offline classes in view of the rising cases of the second wave of COVID-19.
The GYNS stated that online classes should be conducted for the safety of the students.
In a statement, GYNS president Kailash Sarma said, Lakhs of people are being affected daily in the second wave of COVID-19. In several States, night curfew has been imposed and steps are being taken to contain the spread. ....
