Tourism council awards funds to Sidney arts center

SIDNEY Snow Pond Center for the Arts has been awarded $1,662 in sponsorship support funds by the Kennebec Valley Tourism Council in Augusta.
The funds are to be used for a marketing video, and will assist in the growth of tourism in Maine’s Kennebec Valley to produce a positive economic impact on the region.
Snow Pond was one of 12 sponsorship recipients awarded as part of the 2021 KVTC marketing partnership program. Application requests reached nearly $29,100. The organization was unable to fully fund all regional sponsorships to its members this year, but with the help of Brookfield Renewable U.S. it was able to fund about $19,350. ....
