The new generation Hansa aircraft – the indigenously manufactured trainer aircraft of
National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL) launched on March 31 – was developed with a lot of inputs from a Mumbai-based pilot, Mihir Bhagvati (inset), who heads the
Bombay Flying Club. The aircraft, HANSA-NG, will take its first flight by April-end in Bengaluru. The
NAL has received more than 30 letters of intent, and HANSA-NG is much cheaper than Cessna 172 ....
