LAHORE: Total PARCO Pakistan Limited (TPPL) and Careem, the Super App for the Middle East and Pakistan have signed an agreement to provide its Captains with TPPL’s mobility-related solutions at special discounts.
Through this partnership, Careem Captains receive a flat discount on purchase of TPPL’s fuels, lubricants and other services like car wash, oil change in selected service stations nationwide. The solution will be integrated into Careem’s application where its Captains can easily access the offers.

Captains of the biggest black-owned industry, the minibus taxi industry, do not feel any sense of civic duty to the communities they serve. They feel entitled to Covid-19 relief funds only because there are such funds to tap into and exploit, and not because they have been worst hit, relative to other business sectors, by lockdown restrictions.
The industry struggled to observe and comply with the Disaster Management Act and its lockdown regulations. It would be a good, therefore, for them to engage the government in a proper dialogue on matters of Covid-19 relief rather than opting for violent shutdowns that hurt poor blacks the most. .. ....

As the Pakistan Super League is all set to resume with the remaining 20 matches of the tournament’s sixth edition taking place at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi,  all team skippers are ready to give their best to the matches,  a statement released by the PCB in this regard said Thursday.

Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Gulf Air promotes four Bahraini pilots as captains

National carrier Gulf Air has announced that four of its Bahraini pilots - Ahmed Ismaeel, Ahmed Janahi, Mohammed Kamal and Mohammed Malek - have been promoted as captains following their succesful completion of the final check for command upgrade training programme. 
 
The airline s top management commended all the four for the achievement and also their uniform upgrade from three to four stripes.
 
Gulf Air said all the newly promoted captains have started their flying career with Gulf Air beginning from second officer and completing the required training and flying hours to become first officers and recently captains.
 
In line with its commitment to invest in the Bahraini workforce and their career development, the flag carrier continues to provide opportunities for the nationals to take over senior positions in the company. ....
