An Eddyville teen is facing several charges after he reportedly stole a vehicle and led a deputy on a high-speed pursuit in Lyon County that ended when the teen crashed into a metal utility pole early Saturday morning.
Lyon County Sheriff Brent White reports the pursuit began shortly after 2:00 a.m. on US 641 about 3.5 miles north of Eddyville. He says Deputy Keith Suits was on patrol and attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle he met after the driver failed to dim his headlights and had a taillight violation.  As the deputy turned around, the driver, later identified as 18-year old Cameron Doles fled southbound on US 641 at speeds over 100 mph, causing the deputy to lose sight of the vehicle. ....
