Kandiyohi County Commissioner Nissen faced serious battle with COVID-19, now on the road to recovery
Kandiyohi County Commissioner Rollie Nissen came down with a very serious case of COVID-19 in late November and is just now starting to feel more like himself. He ended up spending more than two weeks in the hospital and said it could have been a fatal case. He is the second county commissioner to have taken ill with COVID-19. Former Commissioner Harlan Madsen was diagnosed with it in September.
