Coimbatore: An elephant was subjected to brutality at an elephant rejuvenation camp in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. A video of the same also surfaced on social media and went viral. The elephant was thrashed after it refused to respond to commands. 
In the viral video, two mahouts can be seen thrashing the jumbo behind a tree. The elephant can be heard writhing in pain as the two mahouts refuse to spare it and continue thrashing it with sticks. The Sriviliputhur temple elephant was taken to the rejuvenation camp after it stopped responding to commands.  ....
