Two life sentences for man’s horrific killing of girlfriend
The victim, 27-year-old Keneilwe Pule was brutally killed and raped by Lungile Nxelelwa, who then chopped her body into pieces and set her remains on fire
Lungile Nxelelwa will likely never see the outside of prison again, after he was handed two life sentences for the gruesome murder and rape of his girlfriend.
Sentencing proceedings got underway in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. Nxelelwa also received five years for attempted murder, which will run concurrently with the life sentences.
The victim, 27-year-old Keneilwe Pule was killed in one of the most brutal ways imaginable in Sebokeng in 2019 – an act that shook the community to its core. Nxelelwa is said to have cut up her body in pieces, using a grinder, before eventually setting it on fire. ....
