KP Launches Mustahiq Mobile App for Zakat Distribution
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has launched a mobile application that allows users to distribute Zakat funds to the marginalized groups of society efficiently and transparently.
Named “Mustahiq,” the application not only allows users to explore information on different Zakat schemes, programs, and services in English, Urdu, and Pashto languages but also provides them with direct access to focal persons in charge of Zakat programs at the district level.

Business Facilitation Cell set up at KP-BOIT

PESHAWAR: The Industries Department on Wednesday launched Business Facilitation Cell for investors at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Investment and Trade (KP-BOIT).
Through this cell, KP-BOIT will provide Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) facilitation which will play an important role in the economic development of the province.
Special Assistant to Chief Minister for Industries, Abdul Karim Khan, addressed the inauguration ceremony.
KP-BOIT Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Hassan Daud Butt highlighted the key features of the cell and termed it a milestone in the economic development of the province.
He hoped the cell would significantly increase the business activities in the province and prove to be useful for promoting cross-border trade. ....

The ‘Ease of Doing Business Facilitation Cell’ was set up at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Investment.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, chief executive officer of KP Board of Investment Hassan Daud Butt highlighted the key features of the cell and termed it as a milestone in the economic development of the province. He said the cell would significantly increase the business activities in the province and would also be useful for promoting the cross-border trade.
On the occasion, finance minister Taimur Jhagra lauded the establishment of the cell and said the provincial government was taking measures to make Khyber Pakhtunkhwa an ideal investment destination for investors. ....

KP Govt Announces to Promote Local E-Gaming Industry
The Adviser to Chief Minister on Information Technology, Ziaullah Bangash, said:
There is no shortage of talent in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, we will give opportunities to the youth to make money.
He added that the KP government will be starting projects under the IT sector to improve the economy through technology. He said that the KP Information Technology Board was considering allocating a budget for the promotion of the gaming industry. This would be used to help local gamers train for the gaming industry.
He also said that the gaming industry is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world. There are already several game companies in KP and the KP IT department has invited more gaming companies from other cities to set up in the region. He said that all companies willing to set up in the region will be provided all the support and assistance. ....
