Wednesday, Feb. 17
9:47 p.m. Officers responded to a harassment compliant in the 3100 block Fairlane Street.
9:06 p.m. Officers responded to a domestic assault in the 2500 block of Abbott Road.
8:54 p.m. A 39-year-old man called 9-1-1 because he thought he was drugged and taken advantage of the night before. Deputies spoke with the man and his mother that takes care of him full time. The mother said her son has a serious brain injury and hallucinates if he uses drugs with his prescription medicine. The mother said this is an ongoing issue with him and that she is in the process of getting him better help.

Thursday, Feb. 11
10:29 p.m. Deputies responded to a car-deer crash in Larkin Township.
10:25 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to a Larkin Township residence in reference to a 43-year-old woman believing someone had entered her house while she was gone. Deputies checked the residence and nobody was found inside.
10:09 p.m. Deputies responded to a car-deer crash in Homer Township.

Thursday, Dec. 24
11:09 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to a Greendale Township residence in reference to the report of a single gun shot, which was heard by neighbors. The residence was dark and secured upon deputies arrival. The homeowner eventually arrived, and it was determined that the noise heard was an in-ground animal trap.

Friday, Dec. 18
9:03 p.m. A deputy was sent to a Mills Township business for a report of a possible intoxicated worker. The complainant said he was treated inappropriately while picking up food from a server who was possibly intoxicated. The deputy made contact with the owner of the business, who said the complainant was making sexual comments to the server. The server was not present when the deputy arrived.
Investigation continues in fatal Greendale Township fire
Wednesday fire killed 78-year-old man

Michigan State Police troopers continue to investigate a fatal fire that occurred on Wednesday in Greendale Township. At about 4:10 p.m. on Dec. 9, troopers responded to Volmer Drive north of School Road in Greendale Township, Midland County, after neighbors reported an explosion and fire at a trailer home.
Lee Township Fire Department and Homer Township Fire Department responded to the scene to fight the fire. Once the fire was out, investigators located 78-year-old Kenneth Lilly, deceased in the ruins.
Preliminary information indicates that Lilly was at the residence working on the trailer home’s furnace tenants previously reported smelling gas inside the trailer home.
