Due to Military Jet takeoffs and landings, on weekends usually Friday thru Sunday, but random other times also, the quiet has been disrupted. Beginning in the morning and going until 10 p.m. Usually on the hour or less.
Yes, I did know that I was moving near an airport, a regional airport, not a military installation. I did not move to Havelock because of the noise. The commercial flights into and out of the airport are not the issue nor are the small private planes that routinely take off and land there. ....
