Cases of brutal animal abuse refuse to go down. In the last three months alone, there have been more than 50 cases of animal cruelty in the Sangvi and
Pimple Gurav areas of Pimpri-Chinchwad, in which more than 30 dogs have died, and 20 have been seriously injured. In the last two months, four cases of animal cruelty have been registered at the Sangvi police station.
Now, a case of thrashing of two street dogs has come to light in Sangvi, with the dogs suffering serious injuries. As per information with the police, the incident took place around 12.30 pm on February 21.

The Pune sessions court granted bail to 26-year-old youth in the suicide case of a 16-yearold girl, who was allegedly in a relationship with the accused.
The girl had allegedly died by suicide after facing humiliation when the accused posted pictures of them together on social media.
