DC launches online services for certificates

SAMBA, July 15: In pursuance to directions of Lieutenant Governor J&K, for enhancing service delivery through digital mode, Deputy Commissioner Samba, Anuradha Gupta today launched 7 Online Services viz. issuance of Character Certificate, Dependent Certificate, Certificate, Issuance of Legal Heir Certificate, issuance of Marriage Certificate, OBC/ RBA/ALC Certificate and Issuance of SC/ST Certificate in all six Tehsils of district Samba.
The residents of District Samba can now apply for these services online and digitally signed certificates shall be issued online to them. The service has been designed and developed using the Service Plus framework of NIC.
The Deputy Commissioner, after the launch programme, said that these services can be availed by Individuals on portal https://serviceonline.gov.in/jammu where they need to register and then fill up the respective application form along with all requisite documents.
