sexual favours to sanction this loan amount, and it has emerged that they were targeting people who suffered lockdown losses with their lewd scam. Cops also booked a woman who was allegedly working with the arrested accused to lure needy people by offering such loans.
The case was registered with Chinchwad police on Thursday, based on a complaint given by a woman, after which the arrests were made on the same day. The nabbed persons have been identified as Govind Kisanrao Sawant, a resident of Chikhali, and Gautam Shirsath, a resident of Kirkatwadi. Police have slapped them with charges of molestation under sections 354A and 354D, and cheating under 420, besides other relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). ....
