ST. CLOUD  As we strive to keep up with our daily exercise routines, it s important to make sure your kids stay active too.
With the winter weather, home schooling and other limitations forcing us inside, our kids may have a harder time burning off that excess energy.
Scott Moody is the Youth Sports Coordinator at the St. Cloud Area Family YMCA. He says they offer a variety of programs that are fun and designed to keep kids moving.
Currently we have home-school gym, basketball and soccer programs, just trying to stay ahead of the game with all the COVID guidelines to make sure we can keep these kids active. ....

The Adult Enrichment classes offers a wide variety of options you can take advantage of from health and wellness, to technology and more.
Dave Twedt is the Adult Enrichment Coordinator. He says a lot of their classes are designed for beginners.
Some of them use our programs as a stepping stone to eventually workout at one of the health clubs. But we introduce them to the activity and they go from there.
Twedt says because of COVID-19, they have redeveloped their programming, to better reach the community.
We know there is a need out there, but they can t do it in person. For some people if they could get the class online, they are going to do it. There is plenty of need out there, we just had to look at a different model in how to get the information out there to people. ....

Jake Hutt is the Client Manager at Rejuv Medical. He says when they were dealing with the shutdowns, a lot of their offerings changed to a virtual platform including personal training.
He says it was a resource many members found useful.
People like it and realize it was something they ve never considered in the past and stick with that option. It s definitely worth a try if you re looking for something different.
Hutt says the personal training sessions are live on programs like Zoom to help with that client interaction. ....
