SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCSC) - The Summerville Flowertown Festival has been rescheduled to October.
On Tuesday, the Summerville YMCA announced that the festival will now take place on Oct. 8-10.
Officials said they took in many factors into consideration before making the change.
“The Summerville Family YMCA is committed to our community’s safety and well-being and is taking steps to lead in this area,” YMCA officials said. “We are working with DHEC, Dorchester County Government, and the Town of Summerville to use our facilities as COVID-19 vaccination sites. We also are working with other non-profit organizations and community partners to support our community through health and wellness outreach, feeding programs, and keeping our doors open for ou ....
