For higher education May 28, 2021 Students who live in the Mubarak Village area in Karachi are forced to leave their education after completing their matriculation (matric) because the area doesn’t have a sufficient number of high schools. It is unfortunate that Mubarak Village has only one high school. Without water May 21, 2021 Residents of Mubarak Village that live along the shore of the Arabian Sea are forced to buy water from the main city as the only source of potable water in the area – a small dam – has dried up. The village, with its nearly 10,000 inhabitants, is nearly 200 years old. It is disappointing that families living there do not have access to potable water. Endangered species April 27, 2021 The authorities have decided to construct an oil refinery project along the shore of the Arabian Sea, located between Mubarak Village and Cape Monze (Ras Mauri) in the Keamari district, Karachi. It is important to mention here that this shore is the habitat of endangered species including whales, dolphins and sea turtles. The proposed project site provides food and a natural living environment to these rare species. It has beautiful rocks and beaches which have natural resources like seaweeds, shells, oysters, coral, etc. There are many sandy beaches where turtles come for hatching. The proposed oil refinery project is an anti-marine life project. More than 60 acres land has been allotted along the shore of the Arabian Sea. ....
