PANGASINAN – Six senior citizens died of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Tuesday, January 5, and together with a 35-year-old patient, comprised the highest number of reported fatalities on a single day in the province, according to the Pangasinan Provincial Health Office (PPHO).
The fatalities reported on Wednesday were three men aged 65, 70 and 87; and an 81-year-old female from Mangaldan; a 70-year-old male from Dagupan City; and a 73-year-old male from Calasiao.
The other patient who died was a 35-year-old man from Infanta.
The PPHO also reported that, as of 6 p.m. on January 5, Pangasinan already has 2,925 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 2,449 recoveries, 450 active cases, and 126 fatalities. ....
