Starting Monday, Sinclairville Elementary School will move to a remote model of learning.
On Sunday, Cassadaga Valley Central Schools Superintendent Chuck Leichner announced a pupil who was at the school on Friday has tested positive for COVID-19. The individual was in close contact with “a number of other students and staff members,” he said.
Leichner said the district has reached out to families and staff impacted by the infection. “With a number of adults being required to quarantine, it will simply not be possible to keep the elementary school open for hybrid model instruction this upcoming week.”
Leichner said the remote learning, for now, will last through Friday. ....
