Members of Fort Wayne’s Sikh community gathered this weekend to honor the memory of the eight people killed during a shooting at a Fedex facility in Indianapolis on April 15.
 
The Sikh Temple in Fort Wayne organized the candlelight vigil on Saturday evening, bringing about 30 or 40 of its members together to pray and honor the victims of the shooting.
Eight people were killed when a gunman began shooting at a Fedex facility in Indianapolis earlier this month, and four of them were members of the Sikh community.
While none of the victims were from Fort Wayne, Simran Pal Singh who attended the vigil says that being such a minority community, it means that a tragedy anywhere, is a tragedy everywhere. ....
