Fiji Medical Assistance Team head Dr Luke Nasedra says residents of Lautoka can replenish their medicine at the Girmit Centre near Nadovu Park.
Dr Nasedra made the clarification after concerns were raised from a diabetic patient who could not replenish his insulin dose.
“We have insulin available at the FEMAT Field Hospital Pharmacy,” Dr Nasedra said.
“Ideally, the replenishment of medicine for clinic patients who normally attend SOPD (Special Outpatient Department) Clinic in Lautoka is being done at the Girmit Centre. ....
