WHEELING Small business owners with a plan for surviving the COVID-19 pandemic can apply for a grant to help through Wheeling Heritage.
Wheeling Heritage is now accepting applications for its Small Business Support Grants.The group has received $50,000 in federal CARES Act funding to make these possible, and businesses can apply to receive as much as $5,000 each, according to Alexandra Panas, communications and development manager for Wheeling Heritage.
Wheeling Heritage offered similar grants last year, and a total of $25,000 was awarded to 41 artists, entertainers and small business owners losing revenue from the pandemic.
This time the loans will be more focussed, and assist those who have set forth a plan to distinguish themselves or business for life after the pandemic, Panas said. ....
