KODAK — Not everyone gets the chance to go away to camp, but some youth will get the chance to experience what it is like thanks to a day camp held at Kodak United Methodist Church.
Kodak and Seymour United Methodist Church are partnering to provide a camp that runs through this week. It features all the traditional activities often associated with going away to camp, but children don’t stay overnight, instead being picked up at the end of each day.
“It is designed for children in the community who would not have the opportunity to do camp otherwise. You get the same camp experience. You just don’t spend the night,” said Patsy Dalton, children’s director at Kodak UMC. ....
