Concessionárias de MT vão aceitar cartão para pagamento do pedágio

A partir de hoje, 1º de julho, as concessionárias que administram as rodovias estaduais de Mato Grosso passam a aceitar o uso dos cartões de débito e crédito no pagamento dos pedágios. A medida atende a lei n° 11.297 sancionada pelo governador Mauro Mendes.
O objetivo é ampliar as formas de pagamento e beneficiar os usuários que circulam pelos 1.813 quilômetros de rodovias concedidas em Mato Grosso, que poderão se livrar do incômodo de levar e manusear dinheiro vivo no valor necessário para seus deslocamentos.
Além disso, a medida vai garantir maior segurança do usuário e também dos trabalhadores das praças de pedágio, com a redução de dinheiro em espécie em circulação, de acordo com o secretário adjunto de Logística e Concessões da Secretaria de Estado de Infraestrutura e Logística (Sinfra), Huggo Waterson. ....

Driving with ease: Highway concessionaires will continue helping the country weather the Covid-19 pandemic.
PETALING JAYA: The Association of Highway Concessionaires Malaysia has welcomed Putrajaya’s decision to postpone toll rate increases.
Its president Datuk Azman Ismail said concessionaires understand the government’s decision amid the challenges the country is facing from the Covid-19 pandemic.
“(The association) and all highway concessionaires will continue to be committed to helping the country weather the Covid-19 pandemic as well as continue providing our best services to ensure the safety and comfort of all our highway users.
“We also ask for the support and cooperation of all highway users to drive carefully and to comply with all Covid-19 standard operating procedures set by the National Security Council and the Health Ministry for the safety and well-being of all parties, ” he said in a statement yesterday. ....
