Mumbai: The Bombay High Court bench of Chief Justice Dipankar Datta and Justice Girish Kulkarni on Wednesday sought to know from the Maharashtra government if the act of a popular actor, who has been helping citizens throughout the pandemic and supplying Remdesivir and other essentials, would amount to hoarding. This comes after the HC was informed that citizens are seeking help from this celebrity actor, who has been ensuring all help within a short period of time, which even the governments aren t doing.

Mumbai: Observing that counting chickens before the eggs have hatched would be dangerous for the justice delivery system, the bench of Justices Ravindra Ghuge and Bhalachandra Debadwar of the Bombay High Court on Wednesday refused to issue a directive to the Aurangabad police to register an FIR against Dr Sujay Vikhe-Patil, the BJP MP from Ahmednagar district. The HC has however ordered police authorities to act in accordance with law if any complaint is lodged with it.

Bombay High Court reports that he had got 10,000 vials of remdesivir injections, used in COVID-19 treatment, from Delhi.
Vikhe Patil’s counsel Shirish Gupte told a division bench headed by Justice RV Ghuge that the Ahmednagar MP had only transported 15 boxes, each containing 80 vials of remdesivir, from
