Sarda Energy update on synchronization of Rongnichu (Sikkim) Hydro Power Plant

Sarda Energy & Minerals announced that with respect to the 113 MW (2x56.5 MW) Hydro Power Plant installed by Madhya Bharat Power Corporation (MBPCL) - a subsidiary of the Company:
a) MBPCL has received all requisite approvals for capacity enhancement of the plant from 96 MW to 113 MW; and
b) 1st unit of 56.5 MW has been synchronized with the grid in the evening hours on 18 April 2021.
Second unit is expected to be synchronized with the grid this week. The same will be intimated on synchronization.

NTPC gains on commissioning part capacity of Bilhaur Solar PV project

NTPC rose 1.03% to Rs 107.55 after the state-run power generating company commissioned the first part capacity of 70 megawatt of 85 MW Bilhaur Solar PV project at Bilhaur, Uttar Pradesh and declared its commercial operation from 28 March 2021.
With this, the commissioned as well as commercial capacity of NTPC and NTPC group has become 51,725 MW (mega-watt) and 64,490 MW respectively. The announcement was made post trading hours yesterday, 31 March 2021.
NTPC s consolidated net profit jumped 15.7% to Rs 3,876.36 crore on 4% rise in net sales at Rs 27,526.03 crore in Q3 December 2020 over Q3 December 2019.
NTPC is a Maharatna company operating in the power generation business. The principal business activity of the firm is electric power generation through coal based thermal power plants. H G Infra Engineering gains on bagging order from NTPC

H G Infra Engineering rose 1.77% to Rs 286.95 after the company bagged an order worth Rs 122.38 crore from NTPC.
The order is for transportation of 26.41 lakh Cu.M. of pond ash from NTPC Ramagundam to NHAI-PIU-Mancherial road construction project, the design length of which is 42 KM. The project has to be completed within 15 months.
The announcement was made during market hours today, 16 March 2021.

The company bid price is Rs 94.95 crore against estimated project cost of Rs 122.38 crore.
