Jordan RMG businessman calls on expatriates' welfare minister

Sanal Kumar, the chairman of Jordanâs largest readymade garment factory, met Expatriatesâ Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmad on Thursday, reports news agency UNB.
Ministry secretary Ahmed Munirus Saleheen and Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Services Limited (BOESL) managing director Md Saiful Hassan Badal were present at the meeting that took place at the ministerâs office.
Sanal Kumar, the managing director Classic Fashion, said 16,000 out of his 26,000 workers were Bangladeshis.
He said his company would hire another 12,000 workers from Bangladesh next year and the recruitment would continue in the future.

Kumar said the talent, hard work and integrity of the Bangladeshi workers are the main reason for their recruitment. ....

Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen today said Jordan s readymade garments (RMG) sector will recruit over 12,000 skilled workers from Bangladesh in one year.
This recruitment will be processed only through Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Services Limited (BOESL), he told reporters today.
One of the employers in Jordan met officials at Bangladesh Embassy there and his team will visit Bangladesh soon.
They have requested Bangladesh to allow recruitment of skilled workers who do not have passports, and facilitate providing the selected workers with passports in the shortest possible time. ....

Jordan s readymade garments sector is going to recruit over 12,000 skilled workers from Bangladesh in the next one year to boost their employment in the ailing sector.
I would like to share a good news. Jordan s RMG sector will recruit more than 12, 000 skilled labour from Bangladesh in one year, Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen informed in a WhatsApp message on Tuesday.
This recruitment will be processed only through BOESL (Bangladesh Overseas Employment Services Limited), he said.
