DHAKA, Dec 13, 2020 (BSS) – Around 80.6 percent people of the flood affected districts in this year got GR rice as food assistance while cent percent people of those flood affected districts received cash support, said a research of the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD).
The research findings were revealed at a virtual dialogue titled “Relief Programme to face COVID-19, Flood and Agriculture Stimulus: Effectiveness of Government Services” held today organized jointly by the CPD, Oxfam in Bangladesh and European Union (EU).
During the virtual dialogue, an initial evaluation report was highlighted featuring the relief programme to face COVID-19, Flood in the haor region including in Netrakona and the effectives of government services towards distributing agriculture stimulus. ....
