Moscow, Feb 14 (Prensa Latina) Russia will implement as of Monday 50-percent fixed tariffs on cereal exports above quota, with the aim of stabilizing the domestic market, according to reports.
In order to stabilize flour and bread prices, the government establishes an export tariff quota of 17.5 million tons for wheat, rye, barley and corn, the Agroexport center at the Ministry of Agriculture informed.
The text warns that above this quota, cereal export will be taxed with a 50-percent tariff of the customs value, but not less than 100 Euros per ton. ....

Over 30 renowned fashion brands, manufacturers and recyclers are collaborating in a new initiative to capture and reuse textile waste in Bangladesh.
Global Fashion Agenda on Thursday announced the participants of the Circular Fashion Partnership, including the global brands Bershka, Bestseller, C&A, Gina Tricot, Grey State, H&M Group, Kmart Australia, Marks & Spencer, OVS, Pull & Bear, Peak Performance and Target Australia.
The Circular Fashion Partnership is a cross-sectorial project led by Global Fashion Agenda, with partners Reverse Resources, The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and P4G, that aims to achieve a long-term, scalable transition to a circular fashion system. ....

Crudia zeylanica: Powers vested in Devani Jayathilaka discussed

There are various opinions regarding the intervention of Gampaha District Forest Officer Devani Jayathilaka to protect the plant which has been identified as the oldest surviving Crudia zeylanica plant in the world.
Some accused her of trying to emerge in an unwarranted manner without realizing her powers. Minister C.B. Mr. Ratnayake had also stated in Parliament.

Hyderabad: The orders were issued in accordance with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s announcement to implement the EWS reservations, as per the 103rd amendment to the Indian Constitution in 2019 by the Centre.
The State government on Monday issued orders for implementing 10 percent reservation to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) for admissions into all educational institutions in the State and also in respect of initial appointments to the posts in services under the State.
Necessary amendments to rules and guidelines in this regard, will be issued by the General Administration Department and the Education department separately, duly following the criteria and guidelines prescribed by the Union government. ....
