Science & Arts Academy Hosts Virtual Parent Education Event

Science & Arts Academy (SAA), an independent school for gifted students in Des Plaines, is hosting a live virtual event as part of their Snapshot event series aimed at providing free and quick 30-minute educational events for parents.
SAA invites parents to Understanding the Process of IQ Testing on Thursday, February 18 from 10:00am - 10:30am CT.
 
IQ testing helps parents identify a child s unique needs and talents. Guest speaker and local psychologist Dr. Vinita Bhojwani-Patel will help parents learn about the process of IQ testing and explain both the various cognitive domain areas used to determine IQ, as well as the different subtests within the domain areas. She will also discuss achievement versus ability in children and the limitations of IQ testing. ....
