Reception bids farewell to Kyrgyz envoy July 15, 2021 Islamabad : Tehreek Insaf Senator Chief Organiser Saifullah Khan Niazi has said that Kyrgyzstan is an important country for Pakistan and he would propose further steps to promote mutual cooperation with the Foreign Minister and he would raise his voice in every forum for the promotion of relations and mutual cooperation between the two countries. He made this remarks at a farewell dinner in honor of Kyrgyz Ambassador Erik Beishembiev hosted by Pakistan Central Asia Friendship Association, says a press release. Kyrgyz Ambassador Erik Beishembiev said in his address that he has spent more than four years in Islamabad and that he is grateful for the hospitality and the best impression of the Pakistani people. July 3, 2021 ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan Friday appreciated the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for achieving the historic level of tax revenue of Rs4,732 billion in 2020-21, exceeding the target of Rs4,691 billion and 18 percent higher than the last year. The prime minister tweeted, “I commend efforts of FBR for achieving historic level of tax revenues of Rs4,732 billion in 2020-21 - exceeding target of Rs4,691bn & 18% higher than last year. This performance is testimony to the strong economic revival spurred by our government s policies”. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan Friday chairing a meeting on increase in foreign remittances. The premier directed the ministries concerned to consider extending more incentives to the overseas Pakistanis to attract maximum remittances. ....

The opponents’ dreams to topple the government will never be materialised, he said, adding every plan of the opposition will flop. The Punjab governor said this during a meeting with Chief Organiser of PTI Saifullah Khan Niazi on Wednesday. During the meeting, political and administrative issues were discussed. The Punjab governor said that the opposition had been dreaming of toppling the government from day one, but all their plans, including protests and rallies had flopped and the PTI government had emerged even stronger. “We are not worried about any protest of the opposition and we are ready to face them,” he said. ....
