Authorities identify man killed in Sauk County motorcycle crash

Curtis E. Jackson Jr. 56, of Sun Prairie, died from the injuries he suffered in the crash, according to a release from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office.
Jackson was wearing a helmet and protective clothing at the time of the crash.
Deputies were dispatched to Highway 60 near Round River Trail in the town of Troy on Thursday.
An initial investigation and witness accounts revealed the motorcyclist was on the highway and did not complete a sweeping curve in the road. Officials said the motorcycle entered a ditch and overturned as a result, which caused the operator to be thrown from the vehicle. ....

Motorcyclist dies in Sauk County crash

TOWN OF TROY, Wis. Sauk County officials are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash from Thursday afternoon.
According to a news release, dispatchers received a report of a crash on Highway 60 near Round River Trail in the town of Troy.
The report said the motorcycle struck the gravel shoulder and left the road. Authorities were sent to the scene after the driver was said to be nonresponsive.
An initial investigation and witness accounts revealed the motorcyclist was on the highway and did not complete a sweeping curve in the road. Officials said the motorcycle entered a ditch and overturned as a result, which caused the operator and only occupant to be thrown from the vehicle. ....
